Begin or continue your coding journey with Code Wiz Quincy! Starting May 12, another 6-week session of foundational, game development, or robotics programming at the Braintree Community Arts Center will begin! Classes will not meet on Memorial Day, May 26.
 
FOUNDATIONAL CODING
  • Drag n Drop Scratch (Ages 6-8; great for young and new coders!)
  • Visual/Game-Based Python (Ages ~8-12; this class is a great intermediate step between platforms like Scratch and pure text based courses)
 
GAME DEVELOPMENT CODING
  • Minecraft Coding (Ages 7+; Throughout the course, students will engage in hands-on coding activities to design mini Minecraft games and master fundamental programming concepts, level design, and more!)
  • Roblox Game Development (Ages 7+; Through drag and drop techniques or pure scripting, you’ll be creating extensions to the Roblox game while fostering your creativity and learning real-world computer coding!)
 
LEGO ROBOTICS
  • BotBasics (Ages 6+; An exciting curriculum designed for students aged 6 to 11 to teach the basics of robotics.)
