In the early 1940's, the von Trapp family toured the United States as the Trapp Family Singers & eventually settled in Stowe, Vermont on an enchanted farm with sweeping mountain vistas reminiscent of their beloved Austria.  They began welcoming guests to a rustic 27 room family home/lodge in the summer of 1950.  After a devastating fire in 1980, the original structure was replaced by a striking new 96-room alpine Lodge, located on 2500 acres of magnificent indoor and outdoor resort amenities.  The entire property is still owned and operated by the von Trapp family.

YOUR DAY TRIP WILL INCLUDE:

  • Austrian Buffet Luncheon at the Trapp Family Lodge located in beautiful Stowe, Vermont.
  • Enjoy a delightful History Tour-The Sound of Music is remembered as you learn about this family's amazing history & picturesque area.
  • You are now in for treats! Visit to the Cold Hollow Cider Mill (apple donuts; apple butter, etc) and Ben & Jerry's Factory for a tour-everyone loves Vermont's favorite ice cream!
  • All taxes and gratuities for included features except customary gratuities to driver & escort.

CANCELLATION WAIVER:
Protects in case of cancellation for any reason, provided office is notified no later than 48 hours before departure. Amount must be paid at time of reservation. Waiver is valid for specified applicant/tour only, non-refundable, and non-transferable. Not available on reservations made within 30 days of trip. Waiver Fee: $15PP

CANCELLATION POLICY:
Full payment is due at time of reservation. Cancellations received within 30-14 days of departure, $25PP fee. No refunds for cancellations received less than 14 days of departure. Please note any health restrictions; if you require assistance, you must travel with a companion who will help you throughout the trip.
