The "Thimbles" have often been described as "a piece of the Maine coast that drifted into Long Island Sound...".  Summer excursion vessels plied these waters during the "golden age" of the Victorian Era.  Twenty-three of the islands are large enough to be inhabited.  Approximately 85 homes, built mostly during the Victorian Era, are complete with widow walks, gingerbread trimmings, and genteel gazebos.  Islands range in all sizes, and have spartina and pink granite with the larger ones boasting scrub pine & hardwoods, making the islands appear to be deceivingly tropical in nature!

Cancellation Waiver...Protects in case of cancellation for any reason, up to 24 hours prior to departure. Amount must be included at time of reservation. Payments are non-refundable, non-transferable and valid for specified applicant/tour only. WAIVER FEE......$20PP

Cancellation Policy:
All reservations must be paid in full at time of reservation. Cancellations received up to 16 days of departure-$25PP fee. No refunds for cancellations received within 15 days of departure. Please note any health restrictions.
